Setting the standard since 1978, American PolySteel was the first in the industry to receive national code approval, perform comprehensive performance and safety tests on its products, provide a sound engineering foundation for the structural design of ICF walls, and establish a comprehensive training program for the proper installation of its wall system. The PolySteel flat-wall forms (PSI 4000 series) imported from the USA since 2003 and from November 2005 manufactured at Northampton in the UK are setting a new standard of design and performance for this segment of the industry and achieved full BRE accreditation in Sept 06. PolySteel is an active member of the ‘Insulating Concrete Form Association’ (ICFA) here in the UK and in the USA where it has been chaired by the PolySteel president for 4 years of the associations 8 year history.
